title out of order for some time

10.1.10

There and back again

My last blog-entry was posted on the date, 09-09-09, and after a brief moment of dormancy, this one comes and the date today is 10-01-10, if nothing else, it sure is a binary representation of ... - never mind. Anyhow, there is no excuse for being so inactive for last three months. And today is probably a bad day to make a comeback as mostly on Sundays, when I have nothing to do, my brain feels bruised with numbed surprise. I hope the last line gives you an idea of what I am trying to say. If it does, please let me know, because it doesnt make any sense to me. So I will restrict myself to some of my activities and findings in the last few months.

I was in Kuala Lumpur for the new year celebrations. I have added KL to my list of 'Perfect Places For My Post-Retirement Plans'. Its high standard of living coupled with low cost of living makes it an ideal place. On top of it, any foreigner can buy property there. I came to know that Shah Rukh Khan just bought a mansion there. Wouldnt be that bad to have him as a neighbour.

I realized that I can enjoy sleeping for long hours on a regular basis.

I got admitted to TU Delft for the fall 2010 semester. I believe I took going Dutch quite seriously.

I had seen the Matrix Trilogy about 20 times and had never come to know the secret of as how did the sun appear in the end and everything went fine thereon. But after reading the 'Bits and Pieces of Information' I can understand a lot about the machine world.

After getting bored with Tolkein, I have started reading Douglas Adams. I am currently on the Part 3 in the Trilogy of 5. [Part 3: Life, the Universe and Everything]

I want to share much more, but my laptop's battery is over and my charger's pin is broken and I have the other charger in the lab and I am in no mood to go to the lab on a Sunday and ... whatever...this post will be continuuueee........<.>

  • Congrats on the admit. But I am pretty sure there were no sequels to the Matrix (http://xkcd.com/566/).

Do not go beyond the fourth book. I mean it.
